Aganorsa Leaf Guardian of the Farm Cerberus Toro is the newest chapter in the Guardian of the Farm story — named, like the rest of the line, after a guardian, though this one comes from Greek myth rather than the Aganorsa farms. It’s also historically significant: the first cigar in the entire Aganorsa portfolio to use the Corojo 2012 leaf as a wrapper, and one of the few blends to include rare medio tiempo in the filler.
Expect a medium-bodied profile with cocoa, walnuts, and espresso, lifted by white pepper on the retrohale, with baking spice, leather, and a soft floral sweetness giving the finish real depth and complexity.
Our suggestion for cigars of similar strength:
Aganorsa Leaf Guardian of the Farm JJ
La Aurora 115 Anniversary Robusto
This Toro measures 159mm with a 52 ring gauge, hand-rolled at Aganorsa’s Estelí factory as a true Nicaraguan puro, with a Corojo 2012 wrapper over Nicaraguan binder and filler tobaccos enriched with rare medio tiempo leaf, giving a clean burn and a smooth, balanced draw. Presented in a box of 10 cigars.
Ideal with a bourbon, an aged rum, or a medium-bodied red wine — also pairs beautifully with an espresso or a walnut dessert to complement its nutty, cocoa-driven character.
