Arturo Fuente Curly Head Deluxe Maduro is one of the oldest cigars in the Fuente portfolio — a true Lonsdale finished in the traditional Cuban way with a hand-twisted “curly head” pigtail cap instead of the usual flat cap, a detail that marks it as a cigar from the pre-industrial school of cigar-making. The Maduro version pairs the slim Lonsdale shape with a dark, oily Connecticut Broadleaf wrapper, giving the blend a sweeter, deeper character while keeping the easy medium weight the Gran Reserva line is known for. Hand-rolled at Tabacalera A. Fuente y Cía. and built around vintage Dominican tobaccos from the family’s own estate farms.

Expect a medium profile with cocoa, cedar, and sweet earth at the core, joined by roasted nuts, light coffee and a touch of baking spice, all resolving into a smooth, elegantly balanced finish.

This Lonsdale measures 165mm with a 43 ring gauge, hand-rolled in the Dominican Republic at Tabacalera A. Fuente y Cía. with a dark Connecticut Broadleaf wrapper over Dominican binder and long-fillers drawn from the Fuente family’s own estate farms, finished with a traditional hand-twisted pigtail cap. Presented in a box of 25 cigars.
