Fuente Fuente Opus X Oro Oscuro Perfecxion No. 4 is a rare, darker reimagining of the world’s most celebrated Dominican puro — a limited-edition Corona dressed in a deeper Rosado Oscuro wrapper that pushes the legendary Opus X profile into richer, more brooding territory.

Handcrafted at Tabacalera A. Fuente in the Dominican Republic, this all-Dominican puro is wrapped in an aged, darkly fermented Rosado Oscuro leaf — grown exclusively at the famed Chateau de la Fuente estate — over a Dominican binder and Dominican long-fillers from the same legendary tobacco fields, presented in a striking yellow box with the “Destino al Siglo” secondary band that signals its limited status.

The smoking experience opens with bold black pepper, dark chocolate, and roasted nuts, then evolves into a complex midsection of cedar, leather, espresso, cinnamon, and floral nuance — finishing with notes of dried apricot, candied citrus, vanilla custard, and a long, mineral-edged sweetness. The Oro Oscuro wrapper trades the traditional Rosado’s bright spice for deeper, more layered complexity that rewards patient, deliberate smoking.

This Corona vitola measures 5 1/8″ (130mm) with a 43 ring gauge, hand-rolled in classic Cuban tradition for approximately 60–75 minutes of full-bodied, refined smoking.
