Por Larrañaga, one of the oldest and most prestigious Cuban cigar brands, was established in 1834 by Ignacio Larrañaga. Known for its exquisite craftsmanship and premium quality, it quickly gained popularity among high society and celebrities, earning mentions in literary works like Rudyard Kipling’s poem “The Betrothed.” Despite a decline in the late 20th century, the brand has persevered, with all vitolas now handcrafted using tobacco from the Vuelta Abajo and Semi Vuelta regions.
