The Don Carlos line is Carlos Fuente Sr.’s signature blend — named after the patriarch of the Fuente family and refined over decades at Tabacalera A. Fuente y Cía. in the Dominican Republic. Don Carlos Sr. was known throughout the cigar world for his love of African Cameroon leaf, and the Don Carlos line was built around it, using a specially aged Cameroon wrapper over the richest vintage Dominican tobaccos grown on the family’s own estate farms. The Belicoso is one of the most celebrated vitolas in the entire line, a Cigar Aficionado Top 25 regular, with the tapered head concentrating every nuance of the aged Cameroon leaf into the palate.

Expect a medium profile with cedar, cream, and roasted nuts at the core, joined by sweet spice, caramel, light coffee and the distinctive subtle sweetness only well-aged Cameroon wrapper can deliver, all resolving into a long, elegantly balanced finish.

This Belicoso measures 140mm with a 52 ring gauge, hand-rolled in the Dominican Republic at Tabacalera A. Fuente y Cía. with an aged African Cameroon wrapper over Dominican binder and vintage Dominican long-fillers drawn from the Fuente family’s own estate farms. Presented in a box of 25 cigars.
