Davidoff Winston Churchill The Late Hour is Davidoff’s tribute to Winston Churchill’s famously late working hours, when the Prime Minister would retreat to his study with a cigar and a glass of single malt long after the rest of the house had gone to bed. To capture that mood, master blender Eladio Díaz took selected Nicaraguan Condega Viso leaves and aged them in Scotch single-malt whisky casks before rolling, infusing the blend with a soft malted warmth that only emerges in the second half of the smoke. The Robusto is the format most smokers reach for when they want the full Late Hour experience in an hour-long session.

Expect a medium to full profile with dark chocolate, oak, and roasted coffee at the core, joined by dried fruit, cedar, and a subtle whisky-cask warmth that develops through the middle, all resolving into a long, contemplative finish.

This Robusto measures 127mm with a 52 ring gauge, hand-rolled in the Dominican Republic with an Ecuadorian Habano Oscuro wrapper over a Mexican San Andrés binder and long-fillers of Dominican Olor Viso, Piloto Seco and San Vicente Mejorado Viso alongside Nicaraguan Estelí Viso and Condega Viso leaves specially aged in Scotch single-malt whisky casks before rolling. Presented in a case of 5 packs of 4 cigars each — 20 cigars in total.

Ideal with a Scotch single malt, a vintage port, or a smooth cognac — also pairs beautifully with a piece of dark chocolate or a slow after-dinner coffee to complement its oak, cocoa, and whisky-cask character.
