A curated pair that puts two very different sides of the Fuente portfolio side by side — the full-bodied, charitable Perfecto from the Rare Pink Vintage 1960’s series alongside the mild-to-medium Robusto from the aged-wrapper Rosado Sungrown Magnum R line. Two very different intensities, two very different formats, both from the same house and both resting under its most carefully kept reserves.
The pack contains ten Arturo Fuente Rare Pink Short Story, a full-bodied Perfecto from the Vintage 1960’s charitable series Carlito Fuente created in collaboration with his daughter Liana in support of the Breast Cancer Research Foundation — an Ecuadorian Habano wrapper over a Dominican binder and Dominican-Nicaraguan long-fillers, delivering toffee, cedar, earth and Mexican hot chocolate in a focused, intense twenty-minute smoke. Alongside them, ten Arturo Fuente Rosado Magnum R52, a medium Robusto built on Carlito Fuente’s vision of a return to pre-full-bodied elegance — an 8- to 10-year-aged Ecuadorian Sumatra Rosado Sungrown wrapper over Dominican binder and long-fillers, each cigar rested a further year before release, delivering cedar, light leather, toasted nuts, white pepper and a subtle sweetness.
Presented as a curated pack of 20 cigars — 10 Rare Pink Short Story and 10 Rosado Magnum R52.
Ideal with a bourbon or an espresso for the Rare Pink, and a champagne or a cognac for the Rosado — the pack works equally well as a daily rotation across intensities or as a proper intensity vertical through two of the most carefully built Fuente blends.
