Arturo Fuente Fuente Fuente Opus X Oro Oscuro Robusto is the darker, rarer, and more seductive expression of the legendary OpusX line. Introduced in 2015 and instantly recognisable by its striking bright yellow collector’s box, Oro Oscuro — meaning “dark gold” — is built on the same 100% Dominican puro foundation as the original OpusX, but finished with a specially selected Rosado Oscuro wrapper taken through a longer, deeper fermentation to unlock an entirely new dimension of flavour. The Robusto is the format that shows the blend at its most complete.

Expect a full-bodied profile with dark chocolate, cinnamon, espresso, and cedar at the core, joined by roasted nuts, rich earth, and evolving hints of apricot and floral sweetness, all resolving into a long, complex finish that only deepens as the cigar burns down.

This Robusto measures 140mm with a 52 ring gauge, hand-rolled in the Dominican Republic at Tabacalera A. Fuente y Cia. by Carlos “Carlito” Fuente Jr. as a true Dominican puro, with wrapper, binder, and long-fillers all grown on the family’s Château de la Fuente estate — the wrapper an extra-aged, extra-fermented Rosado Oscuro. Presented in a yellow lacquered collector’s box of 29 cigars.

Ideal with an aged rum, a fine cognac, or a barrel-strength bourbon — also pairs excellently with a strong espresso or a piece of dark chocolate to match its rich, spicy character.
