CAO Amazon Basin Rothschild (50) is a distinctive Nicaraguan-crafted Rothschild from CAO’s celebrated Amazon Basin line — a compact, adventurous expression built around rare Amazonian Bragança tobacco and a deeply aromatic smoking profile.

Handcrafted in Nicaragua, this cigar features an Ecuadorian Sumatra wrapper over a Nicaraguan binder, with filler tobaccos from Brazil, Colombia, and the Dominican Republic. Its signature component is Bragança, a rare tobacco grown in the Amazon rainforest and harvested only once every three years, giving the blend its exotic character, earthy depth, and unmistakable identity.

The smoking experience opens with earth, cedar, leather, and dark fruit, gradually developing into notes of cocoa, licorice, roasted nuts, oak, subtle spice, and a gentle natural sweetness. As the Rothschild progresses, the shorter format concentrates the flavour beautifully, finishing with a rich combination of woody depth, dark sweetness, and lingering earthy spice.

This Rothschild measures 4 1/2” (114mm) with a 50 ring gauge, offering approximately 40–55 minutes of medium-to-full bodied smoking.
