A curated pair for smokers who want to experience two very different Caribbean traditions in a single pack — Pete Johnson’s Nicaraguan Torpedo under a bold Ecuadorian Habano wrapper, alongside La Aurora’s Dominican Robusto wearing the Cameroon leaf that has defined the oldest factory in the Dominican Republic since 1903. Two very different approaches to a medium-bodied cigar, built around two very different wrappers.
The pack contains five Tatuaje Tattoo Bonito Torpedo, a medium to full Nicaraguan Torpedo rolled at the García family’s My Father Cigars factory in Estelí — a silky Ecuadorian Habano wrapper over Nicaraguan binder and long-fillers, delivering nuts, cedar, spice, espresso and a touch of natural sweetness, with the tapered head concentrating every note. Alongside them, ten La Aurora 1903 Cameroon Robusto, a medium Dominican Robusto from the Time Capsule series honouring La Aurora’s first year using Cameroon leaf — a shiny copper Cameroon wrapper over an Ecuadorian Sumatra binder and Dominican-Nicaraguan long-fillers, offering sweet wood, peanut, cocoa powder, cinnamon and a slightly dry finish.
Presented as a curated pack of 15 cigars — 5 Tattoo Bonito Torpedo and 10 1903 Cameroon Robusto.
Ideal with a bourbon or a medium-bodied red wine for the Bonito, and a cup of coffee or a light rum for the 1903 Cameroon — the pack is a proper side-by-side of what Nicaraguan and Dominican craftsmanship can each say under two very different wrapper leaves.
