Tatuaje El Suelo

El Suelo is one of the more distinctive projects in the extended Tatuaje family — Pete Johnson’s collaboration with L’Atelier, blended at Estelí’s TACUBA factory rather than the family’s usual My Father home. The name means “the ground,” a reference to the earthy, grounded character the blend was built around. A dark Ecuadorian Habano Oscuro wrapper covers a Connecticut Broadleaf binder and a filler blend of Nicaraguan long-fillers and Connecticut Broadleaf, giving a full-bodied smoke built on earth, dark cocoa, black pepper, leather, and roasted coffee. A serious, dark, layered cigar for the experienced smoker who wants weight and depth in equal measure.
