Aganorsa Leaf Guardian of the Farm Apollo is the slimmest and most sought-after size in the original line — a limited-release Lonsdale that carries the Selección de Warped sub-band, marking it as the format Kyle Gellis chose to put his own stamp on. Named, like every vitola in the line, after one of the bulldogs guarding the Aganorsa farms, the tighter ring gauge puts the Corojo ’99 wrapper right at the centre of the experience.
Expect a medium-bodied profile with cedar, pepper, and vanilla at the core, moving into leather, coffee, and a light nuttiness, with the same distinctive salty-sweet interplay that defines the line and a gentle black-pepper finish.
Our suggestion for cigars of similar strength:
Aganorsa Leaf Guardian of the Farm Campeón
Tatuaje Noellas
This Lonsdale measures 152mm with a 44 ring gauge, hand-rolled as a true Nicaraguan puro with a Corojo ’99 wrapper and Aganorsa ’99 binder over Corojo and Criollo long-fillers from the company’s own farms, finished with a covered foot. Presented in a box of 25 cigars.
Ideal with a bourbon, an aged rum, or a medium-bodied red wine — also pairs beautifully with an espresso to bring out its cedary, peppery character.
