Aganorsa Leaf JFR Corojo Junior is the smallest format in the JFR line, created as a deliberate counterweight to the oversized cigars the brand built its name on. The tighter ring gauge puts the Jalapa-grown Corojo wrapper front and centre, making this a quick smoke that still carries the full character of the blend.
Expect a medium to medium-full profile with cedar, black pepper, and leather, moving into bread and baking spices through the middle, with earth and a rich root beer sweetness arriving in the final third.
Our suggestion for cigars of similar strength:
Aganorsa Leaf JFR Robusto Corojo
Tatuaje Nuevitas Esteli Robusto
This Junior measures 114mm with a 46 ring gauge, hand-rolled at Aganorsa’s Estelí factory as a true Nicaraguan puro, with binder and long-filler tobaccos from the company’s own farms beneath a Corojo ’99 wrapper from the Jalapa Valley, finished with a tucked foot and pigtail cap. Presented in a box of 21 cigars.
Ideal with a bourbon, an aged rum, or a strong black coffee — also pairs well with a spiced tea to bring out its peppery, cedary character.
