Tatuaje ME II Belicoso (15) is a bold Nicaraguan box-pressed Belicoso from the Mexican Experiment II series — a dark, flavour-rich expression that highlights the earthy depth, cocoa intensity, and sweet spice of Mexican San Andrés wrapper tobacco.
Handcrafted in Nicaragua at My Father Cigars S.A., this cigar features a Mexican San Andrés Oscuro wrapper over Nicaraguan binder and filler tobaccos. Created as the regular-production evolution of Tatuaje’s Mexican Experiment concept, the ME II delivers a medium-to-full bodied profile with dense smoke, excellent structure, and the boutique intensity associated with Pete Johnson’s Cuban-inspired style.
The smoking experience opens with espresso, earth, dark cocoa, and black pepper, gradually developing into notes of cedar, leather, roasted nuts, oak, molasses, and subtle dried fruit sweetness. As the box-pressed Belicoso progresses, the tapered head concentrates the draw beautifully, finishing with rich cocoa, earthy spice, espresso depth, and lingering San Andrés sweetness.
This ME II Belicoso measures 5” (127mm) with a 52 ring gauge, offering approximately 55–70 minutes of medium-to-full bodied smoking.

Ideal with aged rum, espresso, smooth bourbon, or dark roast coffee — pairings that complement its espresso depth, dark cocoa richness, and earthy San Andrés character without overpowering the profile.
